Public Relations: Customer Reference Program Coordinator (Makati City)

Job Description:

  • Provide references to sales by working closely with Steve Jensen and Megan Robinson and under their supervision:
    • Field daily requests from References@netsuite.com mailbox
    • Search Reference database for the best match / matches possible
    • Correspond with sales reps via email
    • Mark the reference event in the customer’s account
    • Send introduction email to the customer, copying the sales rep and Reference Team
    • Elevate questions to Megan and Steve as needed
  • Screen sales references carefully to ensure the quality of references provided to the sales team; report back when any needs arise
  • Elevate reference customer issues to NetSuite Support as needed
  • Log all references provided in NScorp and provide reports on the Program as requested
  • Recruit customers to the Customers Reference Program by working closely with Steve Jensen, Megan Robinson, sales team and others:
    • Research the accounts of potential references provided by Steve and Megan
    • Search NScorp for new potential references, as needed
    • Email sales reps and PS contacts, to receive feedback on the customer and approval to contact them (always get an official “green light” before contacting any customer)
    • Log all relevant correspondence in that customer’s account
    • Send reports to Steve and Megan on references recruited
  • Assist Steve with recruiting and providing international customer references, particularly in Asia-Pacific
  • Assist Steve and Megan in adding/maintaining a sufficient number of established, solid references in the company’s four verticals – wholesale/distribution, software, services, and general business/ecommerce
  • Send emails to all reference customers / success story customers to assure quality control
  • Fulfill misc. reference tasks as needed. For example, may be asked by Steve or Megan to search NScorp for all customers who switched from a particular competitor product, or who use a certain feature of NetSuite. Compile saved searches on dashboard for faster access.
  • Additional Public Relations Administrative Tasks:

  • Assist in researching and maintaining editorial calendars and awards calendars as needed
  • Assist in monitoring NetSuite and competitor press coverage
  • Assist with press release email blasts as needed
  • Provide overall support for the team including researching press contacts and outlets, press kit production, and briefing documents when needed.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • BS/BA (or country equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a high-tech environment
  • Excellent English, proven verbal and written communications skills
  • Genuine team player with focus on overall team results
  • Highly motivated, detail oriented individual
  • Strong people skills
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
  • Ability to work smart in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Ability to think, plan and execute resourcefully
  • Ability to be flexible with work hours.
