Job Description:
We are looking for an exceptional individual to become part of our Product Management Team. This person will be responsible for defining the product road map and strategy for our innovative SuiteFlex platform.

To be successful in this role, you will need a solid understanding of SaaS platform technologies and on-demand market direction. An ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in API design, customization tools, and design and development of quality products. The SuiteFlex Platform product manager will have a deep understanding of customer needs, as well as the developer community, and has the ability to build products that meet the needs of both audiences.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in developing the overall SuiteFlex product strategy and roadmap.
• Proactively conceive, document and drive the creation of new features.
• Manage the overall product release cycle with the goal of successful and timely deliveries.
• Define and write product requirement documents for each release based on market research, competitive analysis, internal and external feedback including customers, partners, professional services, sales and support departments.
• Analyze the competitive landscape by collecting, maintaining and distributing information about competing products.
• Prioritize features and enhancement requests from multiple sources.
• Work extensively with cross-disciplined groups including development, QA, technical publications, professional services, sales engineering and support.
• Perform training for internal stakeholders such as support, professional services and sales for new products or new versions of existing products.
• Provide product information to meet a variety of internal and external needs including sales and marketing collateral, press releases and web site copy.
• Communicate roadmap and product vision to internal and external customers and stakeholders.
• Participate in customer facing events and partner conferences as a product expert.

Qualifications/Skills:

• At least 5 years technical product management or prior product development experience in a leading role.
• Self-starter with the ability to work in a very fast paced environment.
• A solid understanding of the product development lifecycle and processes.
• Strong familiarity with JavaScript and general programming languages and concepts.
• Ability to provide strategic product direction based on market research, internal and external feedback, and vision.
• Superior analytical, writing, verbal and time management skills.
• Ability to make recommendations and decisions independently.
• Ability to sell ideas to management and make convincing arguments for the direction of the products.
• Ability to interact and foster relationships with customers and partners to understand their business needs.
• A track record of successfully working with development, QA, and technical writing to deliver quality products.
• Strong organizational skills: task prioritization, effective time management, meeting facilitation, conflict resolution, and risk identification and mitigation.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills.
• Strong business and user focus.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience building web-based applications.
• Prior experience working with other platform tools and products.
• Some past direct development experience.
• Industry experience and familiarity with integration and XML-based technologies.
• Knowledge of SCRUM or similar Agile Development Techniques.

Experience:

• 5+ years relevant experience in product management, software design, or development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience required.
