Job Description:
The solution developer will be responsible for developing NetSuite's vertical solutions. Working closely with the solution architects, the solutions developer will transform the system designs into world class, industrial strength applications using the NS BOS platform. These are mass marketed, mission critical applications; hence they must be robust, highly configurable, easily supported and deployed. The successful candidate must be able to address unique vertical business requirements by extending the NetSuite platform with customization and/or programming API's. The solution developer is expected to be a key player in delivering these solutions, as well as establishing best practices for development efforts going forward.

• Deliver enterprise class vertical solutions using SOAP Web Services, SuiteScript API's, SuiteBuilder and extension /customization capabilities in NetSuite
• Work closely with team members to resolve difficult technical problems through innovations; provide feedback to the solution architects for future enhancements
• Conforms to internal quality standards; owns and acts on quality problems
• Understands who internal/external customers are and meets expectations
• Occasionally building proof of concept prototypes for demo or pre-sales purposes
• Deliver accurate and concise product documentation for general user consumption
• Communicates professionally, accurately and punctually, both verbally and in writing; accepts feedback with open mind; manages conflict constructively; participate in cross-functional team projects and roles; help foster innovation and information sharing in the work environment

Qualifications/Skills:

• B.S. degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science or equivalent
• 4+ years experience in systems development, either via a consulting firm or a software vendor using Java, .Net, JavaScript, XML, SOAP web services. Solid understanding of HTTP, Internet protocols is also crucial
• Successful candidate should have demonstrated experience in translating vertical requirements into well-articulated, enterprise-class software solutions
• Experience developing web applications using Servlets, JSP, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, DHTML.
• Proficiency with the application integration and customization environment of at least one major Enterprise Application (e.g., SAP: BAP, BAPI, Oracle: Open Interface Tables, pl/sql, Siebel: escript)
• Strong communication skills — the successful candidate is expected to collaborate with multiple technical teams (support, QA) within the organization during product development, QA and maintenance cycles
• Proficiency in application tuning and debugging
• Prior experience with the ERP and/or CRM functionality and/or implementation of at least one major Enterprise Application is desirable
• Experience with a popular IDE (Eclipse, VisualStudio) is desirable
• General knowledge of RDBMS is beneficial
• Self-starter with both a proactive attitude to solve problems and the ability to work in a very fast paced environment
• Able to work in rotating night shifts
