Job Description:
In this position you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining curriculum for ERP-focused NetSuite training courses with an emphasis on Accounting. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of Accounting principles (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Consolidated Statements, Invoicing, etc.). Experience with Accounting for global operations, compliance and reporting, managing multiple subsidiaries, multiple currencies is a BIG plus. You will also have a strategic role in designing and developing standard and custom templates and curriculum for NetSuite customers, partners and employees. Developed curriculum will support instructor-led onsite and virtual training, and self-paced e-Learning.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ERP-related course materials for all audiences including customers, partners and employees.
• Develop standard training in a modular format that can easily be updated, re-used and leveraged for all training delivery modes.
• Team with subject matter experts on the NetSuite application, gathering expertise to guide content development focused on learning initiatives.
• Work in cross-functional project teams to develop course specifications and gather course content.
• Ensure the training curriculum addresses the requirements of all NetSuite audiences.
• Deliver knowledge transfer of new courses to internal instructors including First Internal or First Customer Teaches, and support online and instructor-led training (onsite and virtual), as needed.
• Implement learning paths to support Administrator, End User and Developer roles.
• Manage distribution and versioning of all course materials.
• Create supporting training documentation including student guides, quick reference materials, lab exercises and templates.

Qualifications:

• 5 - 7 years experience with developing course materials, learning objectives, training aids, and hands-on exercises.
• Experience with one or more of following applications: QuickBooks, Great Plains, Sage MAS 90, Siebel, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards.
• Experience with MS Office and Adobe products for developing both eLearning and ILT course materials.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate ideas and information effectively, clearly and concisely.
• Understanding of adult learning theories, structured writing techniques, interactive training (ILT and virtual classroom), learning and e-learning design principles, and evaluation methods.
• Commitment to high quality in training materials adhering to CD standards, best practices and processes.
• Analysis of complex training challenges to present effective educational solutions.
• Ability to prioritize and balance multiple, on-going projects and adhere to project deadlines.
• Ability to establish excellent relationship with extended training team as well as with product management, development and support.
