Courtroom Connect Saves Thousands
of Dollars Within First Months of Implementation
SAN MATEO, CA. — July 16, 2003 — NetLedger,
Inc., makers of Oracle® Small Business Suite, today
announced that Courtroom Connect, a San Francisco-based
provider of secure wireless data services to attorneys
at courthouses nationwide, has implemented NetSuite
to run its entire multi-location business — from
sales, marketing and support to financial operations.
NetSuite is the most widely used integrated ERP/CRM
suite for mid-size companies. The Oracle Small Business
Suite name is used under license from Oracle Corporation
(NASDAQ: ORCL).
Frustrated with the cost and inefficiency of maintaining
different software systems, Courtroom Connect standardized
its business operations with NetSuite, replacing the
legacy systems of QuickBooks and Salesforce.com. With
NetSuite, Courtroom Connect now has a single system
to handle its end-to-end business process, from first
customer contact to contract to cash. In addition to
streamlining its business process, NetSuite also has
helped the company eliminate duplicate data re-entry.
As a result, NetSuite has enabled Courtroom Connect
to save thousands of dollars in software and labor costs.
"Not only did we find NetSuite to be easier to
use than Salesforce.com, NetSuite also eliminated the
headaches and costs of maintaining separate databases,"
said Louis Goldberg, president of Courtroom Connect.
"With NetSuite's tight integration of CRM with
accounting, we track, service, support and bill customers
from a single application, increasing our customer satisfaction
and eliminating the duplicate data entry we suffered
with Salesforce.com. In addition, we didn't want to
invest in a system that wasn't going to have the features
we needed to support our rapid growth. NetSuite's robust
rich back-office and front-office technologies will
support us for years to come."
The software applications utilized by most small and
mid-size companies do not allow business processes to
run seamlessly across front and back-office functions.
These companies run their business on separate, expensive
software packages – one for accounting, one for
warehousing, one for sales force management and one
for customer support. Additionally, the ongoing cost
of running the software and integrating data from such
multiple, incompatible systems has been high.
