Honorees in Fifth Annual NetSuite Customer Awards Are Recognised for Vision, Innovation and Achievement in Driving Rapid Organisational Growth

The awards were presented on May 15 at SuiteWorld 2014, NetSuite's annual user conference for customers, partners, media and industry analysts at the San Jose Convention Center.

This year’s winners, evaluated across a wide range of criteria, demonstrate the game-changing potential of business leadership skills and best practices combined with a scalable, flexible cloud software platform.
The winners by category are as follows:
Monique Herman, VP Business Operations, Jive Software
Ms. Herman has been integral in optimising NetSuite ERP and OpenAir professional services automation (PSA) usage at Jive Software, helping the leading social business software provider to grow revenue significantly since going live on NetSuite in 2010, growing to $145.8 million in 2013, and to execute a successful IPO in December 2011. Jive takes full advantage of NetSuite’s customizability in a phased implementation approach to streamline such processes as revenue recognition and intercompany eliminations. Augmented by NetSuite Financial Planning for budgeting and forecasting, Ms. Herman’s team has made the most of cloud ERP’s transformative potential as the company continues to grow, with offices in more than a dozen countries.
Tom Walker, CFO, Tableau Software
Mr. Walker spearheaded Tableau Software's successful IPO in May 2013, leveraging the financial controls and transparency in NetSuite to prepare the business analytics software vendor for its public offering and life as an NYSE listed company. The IPO capped Tableau's strategic decision as a startup in 2008 to launch on NetSuite, growing its revenue 17x from 2008 to $232.4 million in 2013. Mr. Walker's team uses NetSuite OneWorld to fuel international growth, with financial consolidation across subsidiaries in the UK, Ireland, Japan, Singapore and Australia, while taking advantage of NetSuite revenue recognition to manage diverse revenue streams, including subscription, perpetual and traditional term licensing.
Roddy McKaig, CIO, Shaw Industries
Mr. McKaig was instrumental in deploying NetSuite OneWorld in a two-tier ERP model to run a new 210,000-square-foot plant in China, manufacturing carpet tile for Asian markets. Shaw Industries, a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary and the world’s largest carpet maker with more than $4.5 billion in 2013 revenue, uses NetSuite OneWorld to manage 10 global subsidiaries in countries including China, India, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia, and transact in the Chinese renminbi and Australia dollar. Mr. McKaig has helped Shaw transform its global agility with cloud ERP while using NetSuite's manufacturing functionality to streamline production at the China plant, which is projected to produce 5 million square yards of carpet tile a year.
Rob Bogan, VP, International Systems, Williams-Sonoma
Mr. Bogan has been a key leader in Williams-Sonoma's transformative global omnichannel retail expansion, using NetSuite SuiteCommerce to run four newly launched and individually branded ecommerce websites, and four new brick-and-mortar stores in Australia for its Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and West Elm brands. Since their inaugural international launch, Williams-Sonoma has added a fifth store in Australia and it's first-ever UK location. With Mr. Bogan and his team, cloud commerce/ERP is central to international growth for the premier home furnishings and cookware retailer, supplying critical speed, cost reduction and agility advantages that can’t be matched with on-premise systems.
Kyle Gosnell, VP of IT, MusclePharm
Mr. Gosnell heads an IT team pivotal in helping MusclePharm, the award-winning sports nutrition company, grow its revenue 35x since 2010, to $110.9 million in 2013 atop NetSuite's cloud ERP platform. MusclePharm's strategic selection of NetSuite shortly after its launch has provided scalability to grow its customer and distribution base across 110 countries on six continents, with 35,000 retail partner locations. Mr. Gosnell has guided the deployment of NetSuite OneWorld to run a Canadian subsidiary and a newly acquired company, as well as implementing NetSuite for inventory management at a new warehouse shipping millions in product per month and supporting the launch of new Arnold Schwarzenegger and FitMiss brands.
