Job Description:
The Trainer will be responsible for delivering training services to customers of NetSuite. This position will be responsible for the delivery of instructor led and web-enabled end user training, as well as, delivering classroom group administrator training. Working with NetSuite Professional Services Team, this position will quickly assess customer end user training needs during the implementation process, develop custom agendas and training aids, and deliver quality training to ensure optimal user adoption.
The successful candidate must have a passion for business and the technologies that run it, as well as, proven software training delivery skills. Working with aggressive timelines and a managing multiple client sessions is required.
Training delivery will be done both locally, at our customer's sites across the North America, and at contracted learning centers across the North America; travel is expected to be 50%.
Qualifications:
Candidates for the Trainer role should have many of the following qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years experience in delivering software training.
- Candidates should have solid presentation skills and be able to work with customers to assess training needs.
- Successful candidates should solid experience with developing curriculum, learning objectives, training aids, and hands-on exercises.
- Successful candidates should have a key understanding of applications consulting, either internally via an IT organization or externally with a consulting firm or software provider.
- Excellent understanding of common industry standard business practices as related to ERP, CRM and E-commerce.
- Excellent understanding of common industry standard business practices as related to Accounting (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Invoicing), Sales Force Management (Opportunity, Proposal, Sales Orders, Forecasting, territory management and Quotas), Inventory Management (Purchasing and Fulfillment) as well as support (Cases Management and Territory Management).
- Exposure to less ubiquitous, more esoteric business practices such as Accounting (Payroll, Expense Tracking, Multi-currency, and commissions), Sales Force Automation (Returns, Team Selling), Marketing Campaigns and Web presence (Net or Ecommerce, Shopping carts, Website layout).
- Experience with software in an ASP environment is a plus as is any experience with financial accounting, customer management, and sales force automation software. Previous consulting experience with the following applications is a solid predictor of success as a PSM at NetSuite: QuickBooks, Great Plains, SalesForce.com, Upshot, ACT, Goldmine, MAS 90, Siebel, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards.
- Working knowledge of and experience using XML, JavaScript, HTML, Crystal and SQL is desirable.
- Experience with designing and writing html, Java and Java script for an ecommerce website.
