Oracle Small Business Suite celebrates sweep of victories

Redwood Shores, CA—July 12, 2001—Oracle Corp. (Nasdaq: ORCL), the largest supplier of software for e-business, today announced that the Oracle Small Business Suite has swept awards in its category from leading industry publications such as CNET, Forbes, PC Magazine, PC World and Ziff Davis Smart Business. The Oracle Small Business Suite, formerly NetLedger 1 System, provides small companies, with typically less than 100 employees, an integrated, easy-to-use suite of online application services that manage key business processes, including financials, customer relationship management, purchasing and e-commerce. Recent awards for the Oracle Small Business Suite include Forbes' "Best of the Web," PC World's 2001 World Class Award for the Best Application Service Provider category and MVP 2001 Award for Web-based accounting from Ziff Davis Smart Business. Additionally, PC Magazine gave four stars to the Oracle Small Business Suite for its strong ledger, payroll, accounts-payable, and accounts-receivable modules. And, in a head-to-head comparison with Microsoft's bCentral, CNET gave the Oracle Small Business Suite 8 out of 10, soundly beating bCentral's 6 out of 10 rating.
