NetSuite today announced new AI innovations that will enable organisations in the UK to
run their businesses more efficiently. The new AI agents and generative AI capabilities can help
customers streamline data entry, boost productivity, detect financial exceptions, centralise the
management and deployment of large language models, and drive better decision-making.
“Organisations in the UK are looking to AI to help them be more productive and do more with less,
but knowing where to start can be overwhelming,” said Evan Goldberg, founder and executive vice
president, Oracle NetSuite. “With our AI built in, not bolted on and by offering it at no
additional cost, NetSuite is helping customers reduce the barrier to entry and quickly and
easily benefit from the latest advancements to gain deeper insights and boost efficiency.”
The latest updates for UK customers include:
- Text Enhance for custom fields: Helps organisations improve the speed and
accuracy of data entry with generative AI capabilities that leverage relevant company data
to populate custom fields. Using Prompt Studio, administrators and developers can now
configure AI-generated text suggestions in the intended format, tone, and creativity level
for any custom text field in NetSuite to help improve data quality and enhance AI-assisted
workflows.
- NetSuite Expert for SuiteAnswers: Helps organisations boost productivity
and accelerate issue resolution by providing an AI agent that delivers tailored NetSuite
guidance based on an extensive catalogue of NetSuite support resources. For example, users
can ask how-to questions in natural language and the agent will analyse thousands of support
articles to instantly deliver specific answers and actionable insights.
- NetSuite Financial Exception Management agent: Helps organisations
increase efficiency and mitigate risk by automatically detecting and managing financial
exceptions with agentic AI. As a result, customers can quickly assess situations, identify
transactions that need to be investigated, get actionable insights, resolve issues ahead of
the period close, and assist operational efficiency.
- Prompt Management API: Helps organisations simplify AI integrations and
customisations by centralising the management and deployment of prompts used by large
language models in NetSuite. By building on the generative AI platform capabilities in
NetSuite, this new API enables customers and partners, including members of the SuiteCloud
Developer Network (SDN) and NetSuite Alliance Partner Program, to programmatically control
NetSuite Text Enhance prompts and actions and easily integrate generative AI features into
SuiteApps or custom NetSuite solutions.
- NetSuite SuiteAnalytics Assistant: Helps organisations drive better
decision-making and expand insights by enabling users to retrieve information from their
workbooks and create reports and visualisations with SuiteAnalytics and generative AI via a
natural language interface. For example, users can ask the assistant for reports on accounts
payable ageing or the top five customers by balance and quickly receive generative
AI-powered summaries and key takeaways.
- Generative AI for SuiteScript API: Helps organisations quickly introduce
new AI-powered functionality and gain more value from the suite by enabling them to embed
generative AI capabilities into NetSuite extensions and customisations. As a result,
customers can quickly complement NetSuite’s out-of-the-box AI features with generative
AI-powered capabilities to support their unique business needs.
- NetSuite Bill Capture: Helps organisations leverage AI and machine
learning to automate the entire invoice capture process. Invoice record fields are
automatically populated with the appropriate details, applying intelligent data recognition
and learnings from previous vendor invoices to improve accuracy. For example, customers can
eliminate manual data entry and tedious tasks like keying and coding invoices using
AI/ML-based document object detection and optical character recognition (OCR).
