NetSuite CTO and founder reveals future technology directions

Evan Goldberg to Highlight Cloud Innovations in SuiteWorld Keynote

Social Media, Collaboration, and Vertical Markets All Slated for Growth

SAN MATEO, Calif.—May 11, 2011—NetSuite Inc. (NYSE: N), the industry's leading provider of cloud-based financials / ERP software suites, today announced details of the keynote address by Evan Goldberg, NetSuite co-founder and Chief Technology Officer. Today at SuiteWorld, the company's inaugural customer event, Mr. Goldberg will highlight how the NetSuite SuiteCloud platform continues to be enhanced by innovations by NetSuite engineers, along with the thousands of customers and partners using NetSuite every day to run complex, mission-critical business processes in the cloud.

Mr. Goldberg will make his keynote address at 9:00 a.m. PDT (Click here to view the live webcast of Mr. Goldberg's keynote address). Joining Mr. Goldberg in outlining new technology directions for NetSuite and SuiteCloud will be eBizNET founder and CTO Sid Geddam, Celigo president Jan Arendtsz, and Qontext VP of business development and strategy Samir Ghosh.

In his address, Mr. Goldberg will explain how the SuiteCloud platform at the heart of NetSuite is evolving through the combined efforts of NetSuite, customers and partners. The SuiteCloud platform, already highly prized for its guaranteed uptime, PCI and SAS 70 Type II compliance, and strong infrastructure now gains the power of SuiteFlows to control and automate complex business processes. Ecommerce checkout processes will become more flexible and customizable, and SuitePhone will enhance mobile access. Business intelligence capabilities are also growing by leaps and bounds, with more powerful and easily accessed reports, wizards, and pivot tables.

SuiteCloud is further enhanced by partners who have developed powerful NetSuite applications. eBizNET will demonstrate the power of its Warehouse Management System (WMS) SuiteApp that optimises all functions and resources inside a warehouse or distribution center, helping to significantly reduce fulfilment costs and improve customer service. Celigo will demonstrate enhanced integration between NetSuite and Google Apps that includes real-time calendar synchronization, Gmail integration, and single sign-on support with OpenID. Qontext will demonstrate how its SuiteApp extends the SuiteCloud to include a full social community.

Mr. Goldberg will also talk about how two innovative customers have adapted NetSuite to support complex business processes. Mergers and acquisitions services company Shareholder Representative Services (SRS) employs a SuiteFlow that provides enhanced case categorization and lifecycle management, while computer security firm ESET has developed a SuiteFlow that dramatically reduces fraudulent credit card orders.

"Business moves fast, and nowhere is technology growing and evolving as rapidly to meet changing needs than at NetSuite and in the SuiteCloud platform," said Evan Goldberg, NetSuite co-founder and CTO. "With the collaboration of our customers and partners, the SuiteCloud platform will continue to deliver innovation that powers the businesses of tomorrow."
