Leading technology partners embrace NetSuite SuiteCommerce in Australia

SuiteCommerce Platform Enriched by Leading Partners Delivering Next-Generation Commerce Solutions to Australian Businesses

Sydney, Australia—9 October 2012—NetSuite Inc. (NYSE: N), the industry's leading provider of cloud-based financials / ERP software suites, today announced that OnlineOne, Bazaarvoice, SecurePay, Acquia and Retail Anywhere, have embraced NetSuite's Commerce as a Service (CaaS) initiative in Australia and now provide support for its SuiteCommerce platform. These technology partners deliver next-generation commerce solutions to enrich the NetSuite SuiteCommerce platform, including OnlineOne's shipping solution; Bazaarvoice's social conversations and analytics solution; SecurePay's integrated payment gateway; Acquia's social CRM solution; and Retail Anywhere's integrated point of sale (POS) system.

Operating directly on the core NetSuite Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) business management application, SuiteCommerce is designed to address the limitations and complexity of first-generation commerce systems. It enables businesses to streamline business processes, grow relationships using built-in marketing tools and immerse customers in a richly interactive and intuitive shopping experience and providing a central system to manage all transactions with consumers and other businesses regardless of touchpoint (website, smartphone, in-store, tablet, social media, etc.).

"Today's consumers are more demanding than ever—when they interact with a retailer, they make few distinctions between brick-and-mortar stores, online or other channels. They want to shop whenever and however they please, through any channel—and they want a great experience every time," said Zach Nelson, CEO of NetSuite. "Our new partnerships enrich and extend the SuiteCommerce platform in Australia to enable merchants to seize opportunities to attract and retain customers, while ridding themselves of the cost and complexity of legacy on-premise systems."

Through these technology partnerships, Australian businesses can have a robust, extensible commerce ecosystem that raises the bar for commerce performance across multiple channels. With partner solutions based on the SuiteCloud development platform and available as SuiteApps at www.suiteapp.com, companies are able to mix and match partner technology to meet their unique needs and expand to meet business demands on a global scale. These new partners strengthen NetSuite's CaaS offering and its SuiteCommerce platform, while helping to reshape commerce.

The latest NetSuite technology partners in Australia include:

Shipping Solution
OnlineOne (www.onlineone.com.au), with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and the Gold Coast, designs and integrates cloud-based business systems for Australian and New Zealand organisations. Based on NetSuite's SuiteCommerce platform, the FreightOne SuiteApp makes the distribution process much easier for shipping throughout Australia and New Zealand. It allows information entered at the sales order stage to be used throughout the fulfilment and shipping process. FreightOne can save businesses time, decrease processing costs and ensure a higher degree of control and data accuracy. After the goods are shipped, all consignment details are retained in NetSuite allowing an organisation's staff or customers to track the delivery process.

"The FreightOne SuiteApp helps NetSuite customers control their shipping process from order entry to label production to delivery," said Don McLean, managing director of OnlineOne. "By integrating our solution with SuiteCommerce, we can offer retailers a complete commerce solution that gives them a real competitive advantage. Why make life complicated by using different providers when one is available through SuiteCommerce."

Social Conversations
Bazaarvoice (www.bazaarvoice.com) is a global integrated social software company that brings the voice of customers to the centre of business strategy, transforming business performance for nearly 1,800 clients globally. Bazaarvoice has created a SuiteApp that integrates Bazaarvoice Conversations with the SuiteCommerce platform, to enable businesses to create social communities on their NetSuite commerce sites. Bazaarvoice for SuiteCommerce enables businesses to easily incorporate ratings, reviews, questions and answers into their eCommerce storefront, while bringing the voice of the customer to the centre of their business strategy. This Australian deal follows a global partnership announced at NetSuite SuiteWorld in May 2012.

"The opinions of consumers influence the decisions of others and their purchases, but the journey shoppers take stretches across all channels, social and mobile devices," said Tim Haynes, client partner, APAC for Bazaarvoice. "To influence purchases, you must connect shoppers with authentic consumer opinions—everywhere. By combining Bazaarvoice Conversations with NetSuite SuiteCommerce, businesses now have a powerful tool to create communities and convert online shoppers."

Social CRM
Acquia, Inc. (www.acquia.com) is a global provider of software, services and infrastructure for Drupal, the largest open source web development platform in the world, powering more than 1.5 million websites. Through the partnership, Acquia integrates its Drupal-based products—including Drupal Commons social business software and Drupal Gardens SaaS website creation platform—with NetSuite to enable companies to build rich and integrated social CRM experiences that connect with NetSuite cloud eCommerce, CRM, marketing automation and finance technology. This integration can help companies improve business efficiency, drive customer engagement and revenue with interactive web features, and use social activity data for personalised marketing. This Australian deal follows a global partnership announced at NetSuite SuiteWorld in May 2012.

"By combining the world's most powerful content, community and commerce platform, with a complete cloud ERP/CRM platform, sales and marketing teams now have the power to gather rich customer and prospect data and to engage more directly with specific users, while ensuring they have the freedom to create and develop whatever experiences they can imagine," said Chris Harrop, APAC regional director for Acquia.

Payment Gateway
SecurePay (www.securepay.com.au), based in Melbourne, is owned by Australia Post and is one of Australia's largest payment gateway companies, providing payment based technologies and other applications, including bill payment, eCommerce and customised payment systems, to more than 20,000 clients throughout Australia. SecurePay now offers payment solutions pre-integrated with NetSuite, to allow businesses to automatically accept credit and debit card payments in real-time. The SecurePay for NetSuite payment gateway allows businesses to take full advantage of NetSuite payments functionality, including true eCommerce check-out, customer invoice payments and phone orders. They can leverage a single SecurePay account for multi-channel card processing with NetSuite, whether they take orders via a website, phone, mail or fax. This SuiteCommerce partnership follows an eCommerce relationship announced in December 2011.

"By combining our leading payment gateway with the SuiteCommerce platform, Australian businesses now have a complete multi-channel solution for processing transactions from multiple touchpoints, whether it be online, from a tablet device or over the phone," said Richard Mann, CEO of SecurePay.

Retail Point of Sale
Retail Anywhere (www.retailanywhere.com) is a leading provider of POS and cloud-based retail management systems for midsize retailers. It has fully integrated its leading retail POS software with NetSuite SuiteCommerce, as well as extended the NetSuite platform to incorporate additional retail functionality to further support the needs of multi-channel and multi-location retailers. Retail Anywhere POS delivers the functionality businesses need to enhance customer service, while increasing efficiencies and revenue opportunities. Retail Anywhere was named NetSuite's New SuiteApp Partner of the Year at NetSuite Suiteworld in May 2012.

"Delivering a superior customer experience at the point of sale is crucial for turning a shopper into a loyal customer," said Branden Jenkins, CEO of Retail Anywhere. "Our experience in retail, combined with our robust POS SuiteApps, brings new possibilities to existing NetSuite users and unlocks the NetSuite platform for multi-channel retailers with brick-and-mortar locations."
